The new facilities allow businesses and individuals to send high quality A5 colour postcards and appointment cards to recipients anywhere in the UK.
Users of imail can choose from a range of pre-designed templates or they can incorporate their own artwork. The rear of the cards contains space for a tailored message and a custom stamp design that can include a business logo for added brand exposure.
Full mail merge facilities mean appointment cards can be sent to anyone within an existing customer database, on ad-hoc, planned or phased mailing schedules. The system is also ideal for last-minute campaigns, offers and alerts, with users able to send their cards as late 18:00 for next-day delivery.
“The new appointment card facility is ideally suited for businesses such as hair salons, doctors, dentists and utility companies,” states Mark Dowson, Managing Director of IDS. “Customised reminders can be quickly and conveniently mailed to help reduce the number of missed appointments and improve the overall customer experience.”
Just like imail’s letter writing and mailing facility, cards are transmitted electronically from the user’s Desktop to a UK Mail depot closest to its destination. Here they are printed ready for delivery by the Royal Mail.
Mark continues: “The postcard facility is the perfect solution for holidaymakers. Not only does it allow them to add their own digital photographs to their postcards, the localised printing means cards can arrive at their destination long before the sender arrives home!”
Prices start from just 39p per card for second class delivery, up to 59p for first class delivery with no minimum volume caps.
