Using folder inserter equipment can reduce mailing overheads considerably by removing a notoriously labour-intensive task. However, if multi-sheet mail pieces need to be folded then inserted into envelopes it is necessary for OMR marks to be applied to relevant pages. This would normally mean existing document preparation software and/or document templates would need to be replaced or updated before OMR marks could be successfully applied.
Mail Markup Office enables users to apply OMR marks to mail pieces without any changes to existing processes, software or documents. It operates in a similar way to a Windows printer driver meaning it can be used alongside any Windows application that can print.
