Funasset App Recommended by The Sunday Times

In September 2011 imail Postcards was selected as The Sunday Times "Travel App of the Week".

The iPhone, iPad and iPod app, which was developed by Funasset for UK Mail, allows users to create and mail customised postcards to any global address.

Photos on a device are used to create the front of the postcard and typical "wish you were here" messages are added to the back along with the recipient's address. The postcard is then transmitted to a UK Mail print centre where it is printed then mailed to the recipient. Not only does the app allow users to create postcards using their own holiday snaps, it also helps to ensure postcards are received before the sender returns from their holiday!

Here’s what the Sunday Times had to say about imail Postcards...

“Create a postcard on your mobile handset (use an old photo or take a new one on your travels), fill out the details and hit send; a few days later, a real postcard will land on the recipient's doormat. Easy-peasy. Your mum will love it. Cards to Britain cost 98p; those going elsewhere are £1.48.”
