Introduction : What are OMR Marks?

What are OMR Marks?
Optical Mark Recognition (OMR) marks consist of a sequence of solid black dashes. They are applied to certain pages within a document to indicate to folder and inserter equipment whether and what supplements need to be included, and how many pages need to be folded then inserted in an envelope.

OMR marks also provide safety and parity checks to help ensure the correct quantity of pages are inserted in an envelope.
Mail Markup Office contains a facility to create and manage OMR configurations to match the requirements of your folder and inserter equipment.
