History Report Files and Log
For each PDF document successfully or unsuccessfully processed by Mail Markup Pro, an entry is added to a history report file and an entry appears in the History Log (Fig. 34) on the System Status tab (Fig. 33).

NOTE:
A new history report file is created at 00:00 server time or as soon as the Mail Markup Pro service is started after this time.
File Name and Format
History report files are in the comma separated value (CSV) format and have the following file name structure:
YYYYMMDD_MarkMarkupReport.csv
Location
The default location of the folder where history report files are stored is:
C:\Mail Markup Pro\Reports
Changing
To change the location of the folder where history report files are stored, perform the following actions:
1.
Open the System Status tab (Fig. 33).
2.
In the System Settings panel click the Browse for Folder button (…) located to the right of the Reports Folder edit box.
3.
In the Browse dialog (Fig. 15) select the folder to be used as the reports folder. Alternatively, create a new folder then select it.
4.
The path and name of the selected folder now appears in the Reports Folder edit box.
Storage Period
Following creation of a history report file, the default length of time it is retained is 120 days. Following this it is permanently deleted.
Changing
To change the number of days a history report file is retained, perform the following actions:
1.
Open the System Status tab (Fig. 33).

In the System Settings panel click inside the Reports Maximum Days edit box.

Opening History Report Files
The content of history report files can be viewed using any application that can open a CSV file (e.g. Microsoft Excel).
Viewing the History Log
To view the History Log (Fig. 34) open the System Status tab (Fig. 33).
Content
Each entry in a history report file and the History Log (Fig. 34) contains the following information:
Name of the Task used to process a PDF document.
*NOTE:
The History Log also contains green and red icons to indicate whether the PDF document associated with an entry was processed successfully or if an error occurred.
