Configuration Options The following Batch Job configuration options appear on the Batch Jobs page (Fig. 24): Name Description Values/Format Required Name Determines the name of the Batch Job. Specify a name in the edit box. Alphanumeric Maximum of n characters Yes Sort By Determines the order in which documents contained in a Batch Job are output. Select an option from the list box. The Selection option uses the order in which the documents in the Batch Job are currently listed. Selection* File Name (A-Z) File Name (Z-A) Date Modified (Oldest First) Date Modified (Newest First) File Size (Smallest First) Date Modified (Largest First) File Type (A-Z) File Type (Z-A) Yes Task Determines the Task that will be used to process the Batch Job. Select an option from the list box. Names of available Tasks Yes Delete Documents^† Determines whether the documents in the Batch Job are deleted from their source location after they have been output. Click the check box. Tick for Yes Blank for No* No Delete Batch Job† Determines whether the Batch Job is deleted after it has been successfully started. Click the check box. Tick for Yes Blank for No* No *NOTE: Indicates the default value. ^CAUTION: Selecting the Delete Documents configuration option permanently deletes all documents from their source location following output. To avoid losing documents ensure other copies are stored elsewhere. †NOTE: A SilentPrint3 Alert appears after selecting the Delete Documents and Delete Batch Job configuration options. Click the OK button to close the alert.
