An email facility has been added to SpoolQ, making it possible for jobs to be sent to users anywhere over the Internet. The jobs are attached to emails in either HTML, XML, PCL, Postscript or text format, avoiding problems caused by firewalls rejecting files received from outside an organisation.

Jobs can be emailed to multiple users, or multiple locations, and can be viewed, output or processed by another SpoolQ system. The facility opens up normally restrictive mainframe environments allowing them to output jobs to the internet rather than just traditional "print" based hardware.
