SilentPrint Standard, PDF, Graphics and Office are no longer available – SilentPrint Office PLUS has replaced them all – but SilentPrint Server remains.
“For an application that is so easy to configure and use, it was ironic that purchasing, licensing, upgrading and supporting SilentPrint was so complicated”, states Mark Williams, Marketing Coordinator for Funasset.
“It is now much easier to decide which SilentPrint you require because there are now only two versions and a single upgrade for existing users. Even the PLUS optional extra that provided enhanced processing and load sharing is now bundled with our core product!”
Licensed users wishing to upgrade their SilentPrint license to SilentPrint Office PLUS can do so until 01 January 2006 for just £59.00. After this date the upgrade will be unavailable and a license for SilentPrint Office PLUS will need to be purchased at £249.00.
Licensed users of SilentPrint Office with the PLUS optional extra do not need to purchase the new SilentPrint Office PLUS.
In addition to the reduction in SilentPrint versions, the SilentPrint 30-day Trial and SilentPrint Install have also been updated.
Users of the Trial will be able to experience the benefits of PLUS functionality by default. Licensed users of all SilentPrint versions will continue with the same document processing ability as before, albeit for the updates and fixes introduced in the new release.
