Why Use Hybrid Mail?

Whether its council tax bills, parking fines, polling cards or general letters, the volume of mail produced and posted by Government departments, offices and local authorities is often significant. So much so, getting this mail prepared, printed, finished and delivered is a time consuming and costly process.

Our hybrid mail solution greatly reduces mailing overheads and eliminates many processes staff need to perform prior to posting mail. It does this by accumulating mail from your entire organisation, validating recipient addresses, adding inserts (such as leaflets), sorting and combining, and applying finishing and mail marks. Printing, folding and inserting is performed in-house or by using a secure and certified third-party provider such as a Xerox Service Delivery Center.

In addition to relieving staff of laborious and costly mail production duties, our hybrid mail solution also enables you to: take advantage of the Royal Mail's higher volume discounts (including Mail MarkĀ®); maintain corporate image using mail templates; keep track of mail volume and expenditure; and administer the entire system from anywhere using an intuitive web interface.

Key Components

To enable your Government department, office or local authority to transition to hybrid mail seemlessly, and ensure mail is composed, printed and finished in the most efficient and cost-effective way, three components are provided:

Web Interface

Enables mail to be composed within an Internet browser using familiar word processing tools while also providing an interface for administering the system.

Print Client

Used in a similar way to a printer driver to enable mail to be composed and intergrated into the hybrid mail system using any Windows application that can print.

API

Enables your own applications and processes to work seamlessly with the hybrid mail system.
